The process

After you’ve poked around a little, visit our jobs site to see what positions we are currently taking applications for. If you have any questions along the way, please email hr@wcrossing.org. And since you're poking around, we highly recommend that you watch a couple of podcasts. We think you should get to know us a little bit before you apply.

Hey – just so we are being totally upfront here with how things will go, we wanted to let you know that if we get to the point where we are ready to make you an offer, we are going to ask you to sign a form to allow us to run a criminal background and credit check. We have really good reasons for needing both of these things that we would be happy to share with you. Neither of these reports has to be perfect but there are some things we need to look for in each of them.

Sometimes people have questions about what kind of expectations we have for spouses. While we are not really hiring your spouse, we do want to get to know him/her. We would expect your spouse to be involved at some capacity here at The Crossing. We are huge champions of marriage and want to make sure that your spouse is totally on board with this potential hire. At some point in the process, we'll have him/her fill out a leadership application and may even want to talk, so we can get to know your “better half”, too.
